What is the Great Tribulation?

The Great Tribulation will be a time of trouble that the World has Never Seen, nor will ever see again. Some say that it has already come and others say we are in it now and still others say it will come in the future. So what is the TRUTH.

2. Some scriptures that speak of a great tribulation.

Matthew 24:21 - For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Daniel 12:1 - And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Matthew 24:22 - And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

So what is the Truth about the Great Tribulation?

Has it already happened?

Has the world went through the greatest Tribulation it had to endure. Let us look at world war 1. Now that was a great tribulation, yet when world war 2 came along, it was greater. And we all know that world war 3 will come along and it will be greater than the last two wars.

Look at Noah’s Flood, this happened before Jesus said, it would be the greatest ever was or ever will be. Most would agree that this was the greatest tribulation this earth has ever seen, yet Jesus said it would be greater.

If it had already happened, there would have had to of been a thousand years of peace. Has there been a thousand years of peace? NO

So has it already happened, NO

Is it going on now?

All we have to do is look and we can see that the world is not into a Great Tribulation right now. We may be very close to it, but we are not right now. The Great Tribulation will be worldwide, not just here and there.

So we are not in it yet.

Is it still future?

This is the only one that fits scripture and what is going on in the world today. How far in the future will it be? No one knows, but the signs are pointing to sooner, rather than later.

What will it be like during this Great Tribulation?

When this tribulation hits this earth, it will be hell on earth. It will be like the movie Mad Max or It Could Happen Tomorrow or Volcano. Money will stop flowing; you won’t have any money to buy food. Food supply will be very little, because of the money problem and transportation problems. Water will be a concern. Millions will die.

Who will have to go through this?

I believe, all Christians EXCEPT the Bride of Jesus Christ will go through this. This great tribulation will be used by God to plunge the church. So this goes directly to, who is the Bride of Jesus Christ?

This brings on a couple of questions. Is the whole church world the Bride of Jesus? Is it everyone that has ever given their heart to the Lord at one time in their life?

The answer to the above questions is NO, they are not.

Do you say why is that, it is because there are two types of people in every church, there are true believers and make believers. The true believers Love God with all their hearts, they believe His Word over any man. They check everything by the Word. They go into action when God tells them to go into action. They have a personal relationship with Jesus and they know who He is. After they believed on the Lord Jesus, He has accepted their FAITH and given them the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. This is the oil of the ones spoke of in Matthew 25.

The make believers sat in the church and they act like Christians, they look like Christians, yet they don’t have a true personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, though they might think they do. These believed on the Lord Jesus and made a confession, but for one reason or another they never followed through. They didn’t believe the Word over the doctrines of their churches or some other reason. They are like those without enough oil of Matthew 25. They do not have the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Oh, I have no doubt that they have Jesus with them, but He has not accepted their faith and went into them.

They are of those spoken of in Matthew 13:3-7 ³And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

⁴ And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

⁵ Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

⁶ And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

⁷ And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

So what can we do?

I believe that there is only one thing to do, and that is to sell out to the Lord Jesus Christ. And I believe that there is time for all to come, now. But I also believe that time is running out. Look at the Great Flood, that was the greatest tribulation that the world had ever seen, yet this one will be greater. Noah preached and built an ark for 125 years, and the people didn’t believe. Then one day GOD CLOSED (Gen.7:16) the door to the ark and it started raining. The people all died, except the group on the ark.

God sent a true prophet to us in the 20^th century, yet most of the church world didn’t believe. This prophet did the exact same things that Jesus did, yet most of the people in the churches didn’t believe. Raised the dead, the blind received their sight, the deaf received their hearing and very thoughts and intents of the heart could not be hidden. Yet most of the people in the whole church world rejected him. GOD IS ABOUT TO SLAM THE DOOR SHUT and then it will be too late to come into the Bride of Jesus Christ.
